Fashion Campaign Shot in Paris on Film for a Tennis Wear Brand
This is the second part of the campaign shoot supporting the launch of the New York-based designer tennis wear brand, Thaber.
The images in the gallery below were shot exclusively on 35mm analog film.
Through this link, you can also view the first part of Thaber's campaign, shot by me on a digital camera at a Parisian tennis court.
In pursuit of capturing timeless chic, we decided to include a collection of nostalgic film images to illustrate the vintage inspirations behind the creation of the Thaber brand.
Moko, the designer and founder, drew inspiration from Audrey Hepburn, vintage garments, and old movies when launching her brand. Our aim was to evoke a sense of vintage charm and sophistication reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn's iconic style.
Our chosen location, the Luxembourg Gardens, served as the perfect backdrop for this vision. With its refined ambiance and classical beauty, it provided an ideal setting to showcase the elegance of Thaber's designs.
Carefully curated props such as flowers, champagne, and silky gloves added a touch of luxury to the shoot, enhancing the retro atmosphere we sought to convey. Each element was selected with precision to evoke the leisurely pastimes of a bygone era.
One standout feature of the shoot was our model Laurel, casted by me for her resemblance to Audrey Hepburn. Her grace and poise brought the brand's vision to life, embodying the timeless elegance we aimed to translate.
In collaboration with Thaber's team, I planned every detail of the shoot to ensure a seamless execution. From securing key locations to sourcing props and coordinating with hair and makeup artists, our goal was to create a cohesive and inspiring visual narrative.
Michel, the Thaber brand representative, expressed their satisfaction with the collaboration, stating:
We asked Anna to shoot the creatives for a NYC-based brand, and she was absolutely wonderful to work with as a one-stop-shop in Paris. She was able to help secure key locations to shoot, brought in models who were absolutely perfect for the brand, has a strong network of HMUA's, and was able to source all the props for the shoot. She's also incredibly honest and very easy to work with, so you always know where things stand. We look forward to working with Anna again.
Unveiling Parisian Sports Chic: Thaber's Campaign on Film at the Blue Tennis Court
Beyond the elegant Luxembourg Garden, we also seized cinematic moments on film at Paris's enchanting tennis court.
At the blue tennis court, we enlisted three diverse models and pushed the boundaries of posing and framing, capturing Thaber's campaign with a fresh twist on vintage elegance. Explore our exclusive gallery shot on film to see how we redefined Parisian sports chic.
